Because PC/ABS is a mixture of two polymers, mainly PC, in the processing of finished products, sometimes also found in the sprue showing the scene of the speckle, usually because of high speed when the needle, molten material expanded into the cavity to form. The melt is usually caused by the melt cracking. In terms of moulding technology, we can adopt methods such as advancing the material temperature, advancing the nozzle temperature and slowing down the speed of the shot to reduce the appearance of PC/ABS patterns, as well as advancing the mould temperature, adding indiscriminate grooves, increasing the size of the gate and modifying the shape of the gate to solve the problem. For example, a fan-shaped sprue can be used for large thin-walled parts, or an ear-shaped sprue can be used, with an additional ear slot at the sprue exit, so that the spraying near the sprue, the material flow impact marks, and the residual stress are concentrated in the ear slot, without affecting the quality of the PC/ABS part.
