1. Face milling cutter
    Face milling cutter, the main cutting edge is distributed on the cylindrical or conical surface, the end face cutting edge is the secondary cutting edge, and the axis of the milling cutter is perpendicular to the surface to be machined. Face milling cutters are mainly used in vertical milling machines or horizontal milling machines to process stepped surfaces and planes, and are especially suitable for the processing of larger planes.
    The face milling cutter is used to process the plane, and at the same time, there are more teeth involved in the cutting, and there is a trimming effect of the secondary cutting edge, so that the surface roughness value of the machined surface is small, so a larger cutting amount can be used.
 
2. End mill

    End mill is one of the most commonly used milling cutters in CNC milling. Its structure, the cutting edge on the cylindrical surface is the main cutting edge, the end face is distributed with secondary cutting edges, and the main cutting edge is generally helical teeth, which can increase the smoothness of cutting. properties and improve machining accuracy.

    Since there is no cutting edge at the center of the end face of an ordinary end mill, the end mill cannot be fed axially when it is working, and the end face edge is mainly used to process the bottom plane perpendicular to the side. End mills are mainly used for machining grooves, stepped surfaces and forming surfaces by means of profiling.

3. Three-sided edge milling cutter
    Three-sided milling cutters can be divided into straight-tooth three-sided and staggered-tooth three-sided. It is mainly used on horizontal milling machines to process stepped surfaces and shallow grooves that run through one or both ends.
    In addition to the main cutting edge on the circumference, the three-sided milling cutter also has secondary cutting edges on both sides, which improves the cutting conditions, improves the cutting efficiency, and reduces the surface roughness value. However, the width dimension changes greatly after regrinding, and the three-sided edge milling cutter can solve this problem.

4. Thread milling cutter
    Thread milling uses the three-axis linkage function of the CNC Machining center machine tool and the G02 or G03 helical interpolation command to complete the thread milling work.
